Third weeks. (20-24 August 2018)

This is third weeks in Philippines and week for start to teach in the classroom for me. After l finished to write the lesson plan l must to teach on Monday and it’s the first day for me, so l’m very exciting before class. On Monday morning when l went to the class with my topic today is “ Leaf Structure “ and 43 students in the class. And my first class is grade 9428, before l start the lesson l have a game for students for activate thinking and then l explain the lesson for students, last l have a works for students to do in the classroom. After finished class in the morning l have a class again in the afternoon with grade 9328 and same topic in the morning. And Tuesday l don’t have the class because it’s the Philippines’s holiday, So today Ma’am Jennet and some teacher of grade school pick me and friends to Legazpi city for travel since 5-9 p.m. I think Legazpi city is a beautiful place because it’s many and difference place in the city. History: Founded in 1940 by Caceres bishop, MSGR pedro P.Santons of Caceres, and FR. Francis D. Burns SJ. Ateneo de Naga has grown leaps and bounds from the small high school ( Cammarines Catholic Academy ) housed in the present Naga parochial school run by the diocese. Jesuits just moved into the new building when world war II broke out in the Pacific in 1941 and the school was converted into a local fort Santiago by the Japanese imperial army until. It peopened in 1946. It faced economic setbacks during martial law before eventually overcoming these troubles to land in 1991 decs list of top 18 colleges and university in the Philippines. Today l will talk about teaching practice. After I known the week that l must to teach, I’m very exciting because this is my first time to teach in English on the class and first time to write the lesson plan of Philippines. Then l known the topic that l will teach, so it is Photosynthesis. Before start teaching l do many things such as the lesson plan, power point for explain for students, creative a games or woks for the lesson of the day that l will teach because it’s important for teaching. I have two class for teach they are grade 9. My procedure of teaching are, first l will show the topic of the day for students know and then l will use the games for activate the students before start the lesson. Next l will show the video for explain and discussion about the lesson with the students and then l will use the question for ask some students and last l have an assessment or works for students to do in the class, after finished they will present and share idea with another. Today l don’t have a class and don’t go to school but l must to write a lesson plan at the drom before l will start to teach next week. My topic is Photosynthesis so l think it’s hard to me but l can do it and something that l must to do is make a powerpoint for presentation,explain the lesson to students. Today is my busy day because l was modify my lesson plan that l made before and find the information for make a powerpoint presentation. So l want to thank you my friends at the drom for help me to modify the lesson plan and shear idea for make a worksheet or woks for student in the class. So today l’m very tried, Good bye.

Hello Tuesday ,this is week two in school and in high school. After still observed in class and around school it’s make me know about the sources of learning an technology so they are the library , reading rooms , computer rooms , laboratory rooms , art room. Of these are in the high school and when student finished class or free time they will go in the library for reading a book . do home work , and anything to do. Computer room and Laboratory room are for student learning in the class only, reading room for student who want to read or do something with the lesson and last is computer room for student learning in class so l think it’s enough for students. For teaching methods l think most of teacher used the similar resource such as ask some question for student before start teaching , show the picture for relate,discuss,compare. Ask students about today feeling , today topic , have some statement for student read. For laboratory class teacher will talk a lab ,discripline and safe...

Day 7 (11th August 2018)

Today is 1 week for Philippines and it’s Saturday day for travelling in Naga city. At 8.30 teacher Caryl ,teacher Nickie and teacher Cess are pic me and friends to travel , Then we go the Macdonol because we are not eating brakefast yet. After we are already to bougth a food we go to the Camsur so all of teacher told me that it’s a beautiful place ,it’s looklike a sea but l think it’s looklike a waterpark in Thailand. And then after finished at the Camsur we go to the church in Naga city it is Church of Nuestra Senora De Pena De Francia so we seen every day when go to school and l think it’s very beautiful place too. And we staying here about 20 minute ,then we are back to ADNU University for lunch after finished we will go to the mall ( Robinson,SM mall ) since 1-5 p.m for shopping ,eating and relax.
